Off the North Coast of Venezuela is a tiny little island called Barbados, okay it’s not that tiny but you might not have heard of it. A Hotel Life brings you a sweet little walkthrough/review of the hotel if you are planning to visit the island. If you’re not, might we suggest you go there next.
Lone Star was opened 10 years ago when it was converted from a Garage by it’s owner into a welcoming, warm hotel. Rooms were added later to it. It later reopened after a complete refurbishment in November 2013
The Lone Star welcomes you with a breathtaking view of the ocean and a particularly comfortable bar
The Lone Star has 3 deluxe suites and they recently opened their new beach house with additional 2 suites. The view from the rooms, well everywhere will take your breath away. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfy
The bathrooms won’t disappoint you either. The hotel offers all modern facilities for your comfort including WiFi
The restaurant offers a variety of cuisines and the kitchen staff knows what they are doing. The restaurant is the highlight of the Lone Star and takes up most of the space. It sits up right on the beech and is painted relaxing blue and white. They haven’t forgotten their heritage though, the staff wears garage boiler suits (don’t worry, they don’t have greasy hands). Take a dip in the ocean in the morning and come back for a fresh and sensational breakfast brought right to your terrace
When you’re done with the beauty of the hotel, take a afternoon walk on the beech of Barbados. Watch the Sun go down and swim with the turtles
Barbados offers Grantley Adams International Airport providing easy reach from where it’s a 35 min drive to the Hotel. The Hotel might be a little on the pricey side but the sensational experience will be well worth it.
