Dubai based airline flydubai announced 3 new routes to start in the first quarter of 2015, one of which is Chennai expanding their network to 89 destinations in 46 countries
Chennai, flydubai’s eighth destination in India, will be served with three flights a week from 31 March 2015, bringing the total number of weekly flights operated by flydubai to the market to 29. The flights will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays- with return flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
The new announced routes underline flydubai’s commitment to connecting the UAE to previously underserved markets. The carrier has linked Dubai to 56 underserved destinations since it started its operations in 2009.
flydubai has a brand new fleet of 43 new Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft and operates more than 1,200 flights a week across the Middle East, GCC, Africa, Caucasus, Central Asia, Europe and the Indian Subcontinent.
The Economy Class roundtrip between Chennai and Dubai will cost AED900 (INR15,600) with upto 7Kg of hand baggage; the Business class will be offered at AED2,600 (INR45,000) with upto 40Kg of checked baggage
