On your arrival to delhi meet our representative in hotel itself. He will help you in checking in at hotel. Relax for sometime, soak the weather as by afternoon we will leave for Delhi city tour. Delhi is a busy city and never stops. We will take you on drive to beautiful roads of delhi visiting Rajpath, it is world war I memorial arch. India Gate towards parliament house and Presidential Palace.
By evening we will reach Qutub Minar - a 72 mts high architecture, the beautiful uncorroded iron pillar which was built in 4th Century AD After this we will visit Delhi haat, an amalgamation of Delhi Culture, food, craft. A great place to experience the diversity of Indian handicrafts and artifacts. You may take your dinner here as this place offers some of the most amazing Indian dishes. On your way back to hotel we will again enroute the Rajpath, lightning India Gate, many indian families visit this place at night and hangout, you may also go out and take some of the most beautiful pictures to remember for lifetime. Stay overnight at hotel.
After a beautiful dayin Delhi today we will leave for the land of Rajputs- Jaipur, after your breakfast. The pink city (Jaipur is also called as pink city, it was created by Swai Jai Singh) is a beautiful city which is full of colors, forts, palaces, very rich in it's culture, tradition, art and craft. The road from mandawa to Jaipur is 175 kms (approx 4 hours). We will reach Jaipur by lunch, check it at hotel and relax for a while as soon enough we will leave for beautiful market of jaipur for shopping.
Shopping in Jaipur have always been a pleasure for tourist as it offers everything whether it is jewellery, hand crafted items, gemstones, Traditional rajasthani clothes, trinkets, silverware, marble sculptures, enamel jewellery (Kundan meena), textiles or garments you will find everything here. if you are looking for handicraft items like wall hangings, metal artifacts (white metal), puppets we will visit link road which is next to Saraogi Mansion in Bapu Bazaar. We will also visit Nehru bazaar whicj is famous for camel skin shoes like jutties/mojaries, trinkets, bandhani work, perfumes.
After a special session of shopping we will leave for a delicious rajasthani style dinner in one of the famous restaurant in jaipur. The restaurant is famous for traditional activities like Puppet shows, chinese fiesta, churi shops, it keeps visitors hooked and is a delight to be present here. After a wonderful day we will drive back to hotel, stay overnight at hotel.
Wake up early today and breathe fresh air and experience the pink city view from hotel balcony, you may go outside for a short walk, but get back early as we will leave for jaipur excusion today.
After your breakfast we leave for jaipur All guests to assemble in the Hotel lobby at 9:30 a.m. After breakfast we leave for city tour of Jaipur including a visit to famous Hawa Mahal resembled as a crown to Lord Krishna it was built in 1798 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. This mughal architectural style monument was built for the women of Royal families so that they view the daily life though beautifully carved windows/balconies.
After this we will visit Royal City Palace, it was once the residence of Royal families in rajasthan, now a museum with a beautiful and rare collection of rajasthani costumes, painitings, and rajput armors.
By 3 PM we will visit the Giant Amber fort, to get to the hill top of this beautiful fortress you may get on a Elephant (hathi), in ancient it was one of the mode of transportation for Maharajah's. Enjoy the elephant ride in Maharaja style. Or else you may board a jeep ride to get to the top of the Fort. After a wonderful city tour of Jaipur we will drive back to hotel, take your dinner and stay overnight at hotel.
After exploring the beautiful pink city today we will today leave for Agra City. After your breakfast we will leave for the City of Victory, Fatehpur Sikri.
It is 40 kms from Agra and was built by Akbar in 1569. All the monuments, buildings are well crafted in mughal style, the Jama Masjid, Salim Chisti's Tomb and many other palaces. It was the capital city of Mughal empire but was abandoned in 1584 due to scarcity of water. On your arrival to Agra check it at hotel and relax for a while as Post lunch we will leave for one of the Wonders of Love the monument of love, TAJ MAHAL.
The Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj mahal is built with precious white marbel and is best viewed under moon light as the marble shines to silver colors. The Taj Mahal changes its color many times during a course of day. Later we will visit for Agra Fort a famous huge fort built in red stone by Akbar in year 1565. There are more than 500 buildings inside the fort, many of them are in Marble. The fort is surrounded by huge walls displayed as the symbol of Power. Their are many ghats near the fort as river Yamuna was touched it. It was a method of transporting goods in and out of the Fort. After a wonmderful journey to Taj Mahal and Agra fort you are free to shop and purchase some souvenir as a memory. You may also buy handicraft items here. By evening drive back to hotel as evening is free at leisure, stay overnight at hotel.
After breakfast transfer to railway station to connect the train from Agra to Jhansi. On Arrival meeting and assistance and transfer to Orchha (17 kms).
Orchha - Set in a medieval city teeming with Palaces, established by Maharaja Rudra Pratap Singh in 1501, as the seat of an eponymous former princely state of central India, in the Bundelkhand region. Orchha is famous for its bundela paintings, narrating stories of war, peace, love and destruction. On arrival to Orchha check in at Hotel rest for a while as by 4 PM we will visit Orchha Fort, the Jehangir Mahal, Ram Raja Temple and the Chaturbhuj Temple.
Orchha Fort - Located on an island on River Betwa this beautiful fort have many palaces inside it's giant complex. The way to Orchha Fort is really beautiful via four-arched bridge.
THE JEHANGIR MAHAL - This beautiful mahal was built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo in 17th century. The architecture of this Mahal is quite amazing builded on a rectangular base with circular tower on every corner surmounted by a dome, while two lines of graceful balconies supported on brackets mark the central storey. The roof is crowned by eight large fluted domes, with smaller domes between them, connected by an ornamental balustrade.
RAM RAJA TEMPLE - It was a Palace long ago but was converted to temple. Builded on square base, the exterior of this temple are almost plain with projecting windows surmounted by delicate domes. This beautiful temple have a legend attached to its origin which you will explore once you are here.
CHATURBHUJ TEMPLE - Builded by Madhukar Shah, this temple was supposed to be the temple where the statue of Raja Ram would be placed. After exploring religious traditional Indian culture drive back to hotel, stay overnight at hotel.
After breakfast today we leave for Khajuraho (4.30 hours).
Khajuraho is a small town located in the Bundelkhand region (Chhatarpur District) of Madhya Pradesh and is famous for groups of Hindu and Jain temples. The Khajuraho temples were built between 950 A.D. and 1050 A.D. and that they numbered no fewer than 85. Today only 22 Temples are in a good state of preservation, survive. These temples are a UNESCO World Heritage Site for their beautiful and erotic rock carvings.
On arrival to khajuraho check into the hotel, take your lunch as post lunch we leave for visiting the western group of temples of which the most important are the Chaunset Yogini temple dedicated to Goddess Kali and the Kandariya Mahadev Temple, 31 meters high, which has a fantastic range of sculptures including sensuous themes. The Chitragupta temple is dedicated to Surya-the sun God. Also visit other important temples like Vishwanath and Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple and the Visha Temple, dedicated to Shiva, and the largest and most typical of temples.
By evening enjoy the famous light and sound show at Khajuraho temple. drive back to hotel, Take your dinner and stay overnight at hotel.
After visiting western group of temples yesterday today post breakfast we will visit Southern and Eastern Group of Temples of Khajuraho. The famous Southern group of temples are :
DULHADEV TEMPLE - A beautiful and last temple of Khajuraho, lies to the south of Ghantai temple. Holding a beautiful Shivalingam. The apsara and ornamented figures are the temple's most striking features.
BEEJAMANDAL TEMPLE - It is a ruined temple, and is near the Chattarbhuj Temple
CHATTARBHUJ TEMPLE OR THE JATKARI TEMPLE - This temple was built in 1100 A.D and quite famous for its architecture, and is also the only temple to be devoid of any erotic sculpture.
EASTERN GROUP OF TEMPLES
PARSVANATH TEMPLE - Largest among the group, surrounded with exquisite carvings. This temple is amalgmation of all the cultues in majorly Hindu, Buddhist and Muslim. The roof of this temple depicts all these three cultures.
GHANTAI TEMPLE - Depicts the 16 dreams of Mahavira's mother, and a Jain goddess on a winged Garuda.
ADINATH TEMPLE - Dedicated to Jain Tirthankar (God), adinath, the temple is lavishly embellished with sculpted figures, including yakshis.
BRAHMA TEMPLE - This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishu and is considered to be one of the oldest temples of Khajuraho made entirely in granite and sandstone.
VAMANA TEMPLE - This temple is the dwarf form of Lord Vishnu, famous for its simlicity.
After a splendid excursion to these beautiful temples drive back to the Hotel, pack your bags and leave for Airport of Railway station to your onward destination
